Temporary Rentals
We know "one size fits all" doesn't work for everyone,
which is why we also offer temporary rentals for festivals or R&D.
We offer temporary access to our kitchen and equipment to companies looking to prep or cook for special events
such as festivals (e.g., Italian Day on the Drive, Khatsahlano Street Party) and Holiday markets (e.g., Christmas markets, Shipyards Night Market)
We also offer access to companies looking to test and develop recipes or products.
- $75 Annual Membership fee (if participating in 2 or more events in the year)
- $45/hour, minimum booking of 4 hours
- FOODSAFE Level 1
- Temporary event permit (Fraser Health or Vancouver Coastal Health)
- Liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2 million
- $250 damage deposit
- Access to a station with 2 prep tables, 1 kitchen trolley and cleaning chemicals
- Access to available kitchen equipment
- Access to a commercial dishwashing machine
- Garbage disposal
Not included:
- Storage
- Utensils
- Owner and all staff must attend a 15-minute orientation before their first booking
- A maximum of 3 people can be working at the station at the same time
- The company must bring in all ingredients and utensils required for their production
- Ingredients must come from approved sources (grocery stores, inspected meat suppliers)
